The Crowned Eagle I looked up in the sky so vast and high and it looked so peaceful up there, but suddenly the wind was filled with a cold fear. The waterfalls almost stopped! A group of monkeys ran past shouting Wark Wark Wark! The forest froze with fear, Then suddenly a loud call came near. Kwee, Kwee, Kwee it said. All the animals fled! Then up on high I saw it in the sky! A huge, very big bird up on high. It caught a monkey in its’ claws and the other monkeys screeched like it was illegal. But the bird flew away, because he was the King of the forest, yes he was the CROWNED EAGLE! by Kadin Madgwick – age 6
